JD (京东, Jingdong) sells much of its range itself, from its own warehouses. That’s why people buy electronics, household goods and anything where authenticity matters here.
Items marked 京东自营 are sold by JD itself — the safest choice. The rest are third-party shops, like on Taobao.

Install the app only from the official store or the developer’s website.
Install the app or use the mini-program
JD works as a standalone app and as the 京东购物 mini-program inside WeChat — in the latter, sign-in and payment go through your WeChat.

Turn it on in search — only items JD sells and ships itself remain.
Address
In Chinese, with flat or hotel room number. JD couriers usually call before arriving.
Payment
The main option is WeChat Pay or a Chinese bank card. Alipay has historically not been accepted on JD.
If it won’t work
Can’t pay — open JD via the WeChat mini-program, which charges your already linked card. Returns — 申请售后 on the order card; for JD-sold items the courier picks the parcel up.
