What Meituan is for

Meituan is China’s largest food delivery service. Lunch from a restaurant, groceries, medicine from a pharmacy — usually in 30–40 minutes.

It also has restaurant deals at up to half price, hotel bookings, and the yellow Meituan bikes on every corner.

Install the app only from the official store or the developer’s website.

Meituan isn’t in the Russian App Store — you’d need an Apple account from another region. The WeChat or Alipay mini-program works regardless.

Easiest — no install
Open 美团 as a mini-program in WeChat or Alipay: you sign in with your wallet’s number and pay with the linked card.
Or install the app
The standalone app is handier for frequent orders: history, addresses, coupons.

Delivery address
Enter the address in Chinese, with building, floor and flat or hotel room number. In hotels couriers usually leave orders at reception or on a dedicated shelf.
Choosing dishes
The 外卖 section is delivery. A camera translator reads the menu straight off the screen; go by photos and rating.
Contacting the courier
The courier may call — in Chinese. Add an order note: 请放在前台 (please leave it at reception).

No code to a foreign number — sign in via the WeChat or Alipay mini-program. The card won’t pay — choose Alipay or WeChat Pay as the payment method.
